Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, this policy explains how to return or refund your order.

1. Return Eligibility
You may return a product if any of the following apply:
- The item arrived damaged or defective
- The item is not what you ordered (wrong product shipped)
- You changed your mind within 7 days of receiving the product
- The product does not match the description on our website
Important: To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or invoice).
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items that have been used, damaged by the customer, or show signs of wear
- Items returned more than 7 days after delivery (without a valid warranty claim)
- Items missing original packaging, accessories, or documentation
- Customised or special-order machines
- Gift cards or promotional vouchers
3. How to Request a Return
Initiating a return is simple. Follow these steps:

Provide Details
Include your order number, the item you wish to return, the reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged or defective.
Receive Authorisation
Our team will respond within 48 hours with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and detailed return instructions.
Ship the Item
Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided. Include the RAN clearly on the package.
Get Your Refund
Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund within 7–14 business days.
4. Refund Methods
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- EFT payments: refunded directly to your bank account
- Card payments: refunded to the original card
- WhatsApp-confirmed payments: refunded via EFT to your nominated account
Please note that depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account after we process it.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Who pays return shipping depends on the reason for return:
- We pay: if the item is damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong product
- You pay: if you changed your mind or no longer want the item
We recommend using a tracked courier service for all returns. Rendan Sport Shop is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during return shipping.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your machine arrives damaged or develops a fault within the warranty period, please:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for shipping damage
- Provide clear photos showing the damage or defect
- Do not attempt repairs yourself, as this may void warranty
- Keep all original packaging until the issue is resolved
Note: For machines under manufacturer warranty, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund — whichever is most appropriate for the situation.
7. Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange a product for a different model, contact us and we'll assist you. The exchange process follows the same steps as a return:
- The original item must be returned unused in original packaging
- You will be charged or refunded the price difference
- Additional shipping fees may apply
8. Warranty Claims
Every ball machine sold by Rendan Sport Shop comes with a manufacturer warranty. Warranty periods vary by brand and model — please check your product details or contact us for specifics.
Warranties typically cover:
- Manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship
- Parts that fail under normal use
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorised modifications
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. ball wear, battery degradation over years)
- Damage from exposure to extreme weather or improper storage
9. Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it is dispatched for a full refund. Once an order has been shipped, our standard return process applies.

10. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank account or card statement again
- Contact your bank or card provider — refunds often take time to officially post
- If you've done both and still have not received your refund, contact us at contact@rendansportshop.co.za
11. Your Rights Under South African Law
This policy works in conjunction with — and does not replace — your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA). Under the CPA, you have the right to:
- Receive goods that are of good quality and fit for purpose
- Return defective goods within 6 months for repair, replacement, or refund
- Cancel direct marketing transactions within 5 business days (cooling-off period for distance sales)

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund and Returns Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
